As part of our ongoing efforts in modernAKIS to interconnect Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) actors across Europe, this event serves as a platform to share valuable insights and foster collaboration within the agricultural community.

Well-educated farmers, advisors, teachers as well as agri-food professionals are the vital for well-functioning Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS).  Educational AKIS practices working forward-looking training initiatives such as GEEK4Food’s AI-powered programmes, vocational Centers of Excellence for the agriculture of the future, and the role of Rural Development Centers in Rhineland-Palatinate as regional knowledge hubs, demonstrate how targeted, innovative education can accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable, digitally literate, and resilient food system.
